Hex Editor - best one I've found, displays various C/C++ types.

File Monitor - for monitoring how Analyser was reading the files.

Visual Studio 2005 - for writing the software to pull the files apart.

Lutz Roeder's .NET Reflector - a great tool, if I'd known about this when I started, how much easier things would have been!
